Evaluating the Blogging Challenge The most interesting challenge for you
I found all of them interesting but the one I mostly liked was Week 3 – Using Images. It’s fun to add images and use them in your post. I also liked Activity 2, 3 and 4 from Week 3. In activity 2, I liked to make poems. In activity 3, I liked to write stories but I’m too lazy to write, I just think of them and it’s also fun if you write the beginning of a story and the readers will think of an ending, so there would be different endings for one story. In activity 4, Picture phrases are fun to make and fun to guess like Charades, you have to act out the word and your teammates have to guess the word. How often you visited other blogs and left comments? When I read a post, sometimes I would leave a comment, sometimes I won’t, it depends on me. Sometimes I’m too shy to leave a comment. Or I just don’t want to leave a comment. Sometimes I want to leave a comment to show how I feel about a post. So the correct answer to this question is ‘frequently’ or ‘maybe’, it depends on the post or if I want to (mostly this) or my mood. Do you often read the challenge flipboard magazine? Sometimes, if I have time or if I want to then I would. But I usually check it every week. I mostly check if my post/s got published and I would be happy if it did. A PMI or plus/minus/interesting point about the challenge I don’t really want to minus something about the blogging challenge, it’s fine just the way it is, but I wish that there were more free choices or some story writing challenges. The most important thing you learned while doing the challenge I learned so many things from the blogging challenge. I improved my writing skills, research skills and my formulating skills. I also learned how to use JavaScript and HTML. Oh, and I also learned about more applications that I can use in the future. The blogging challenge was fun and I learned and improved so much. I wonder if you had fun in the blogging challenge, well I sure did. Thank You And Goodbye, Blogging Challenge! I’ll miss you!

Evaluating My Blog Q: How many posts did you write? A: 31 posts. Q: How many were school based, your own interests or set by the challenge? A: Almost all of them were set by challenge except for week 4 – Free Choice and Week 9 – The Very Best Post that was my own interest. Q: How many comments did you receive from bloggers? A: 19 Q: Which post received the most comments? Why do you think that happened? A: 'World Hunger' with five comments. Maybe because the poem/limerick was good and it also speaks about world hunger (according to the comments). Q: Which post did you enjoy writing the most and why? A: I enjoyed writing all of my posts but the one I mostly enjoyed writing was 'Millana's Story' because I liked writing about my art and most especially my favorite character, Millana. It was also fun to write about her story. Q: Did you change blog themes at all and why? A: No, I didn’t. I like my blog theme. Q: How many widgets do you have? Millana, my favorite original character; she was a human girl living an ordinary life. Her parents passed away when she was small. They died in a car accident. Her only relatives were her parents, so, she didn’t have any relatives anymore. Her mom was an only child and her father had a brother who had died because of illness. Her grandparents had died, too. She was an outcast in school and she also used to get bullied. But, Millana had friends to support her and be by her side, a cat, Amethyst, and a dog, Ruby.
One day, everyone in town gathered to celebrate a special festival, except Millana. Millana wasn’t interested in going. She stayed at home with Amethyst and Ruby. But that night…there was a big blast and everyone died except Millana, Amethyst, and Ruby. When they went outside everything had changed. It was like Wonderland from ‘Alice in Wonderland’. There were magical creatures around. Millana was shocked and couldn’t believe her eyes. They explored and learned how to survive. After two years of living in ‘Wonderland’, they got used to living there. One day, they saw something glowing. It was a shining rainbow orb. Millana went close to it. Amethyst and Ruby shivered in fear worrying about Millana. Millana touched it and......BOOM!....A vortex appeared and sucked Millana, Amethyst, and Ruby. They went in really fast and Millana got scarred on her face and got hurt a lot. Finally, they appeared in another world. It looked like an apocalyptic city. They were all unconscious. Amethyst and Ruby woke up first. They both were worried about Millana. When Millana woke up, Amethyst and Ruby felt relieved. Millana also realized her skin tone had changed to dark red and her one eye were hurting a lot. Millana, Amethyst, and Ruby started exploring the place. "What happened here?" Millana thought. Suddenly she saw someone which glowed and transformed into two girls. One red and the other violet. Millana didn't know whether to trust them or not. They both introduced themselves to her. The red one was Fire Kit and the violet one was Fun Pun. Millana asked them some questions about that world. "Where are we?" asked Millana "We're in Andlalan," answered Fire Kit and Fun Pun together. Millana and her friends were sent to Fire Kit and Fun Pun's home. She was given a map of the world. She went on adventures and met more friends. There was no way out of 'Andlalan' but Millana wasn't sad, she was happy to meet new friends....who were loving and caring........! Naho's Blog My Favorite Blog I like Naho's blog. It's interesting and fun to read Naho's posts. Some of her posts aren't really long but are fun to read. She is in 8th grade, which means she's older than me. She had also been in the blogging challenge for 2 years.
By the way, here are some of her posts that I really like: SBC Week 3: Activity 6: Panda Plant Comic! - I like this comic very much. It tells about how to save plants. Plants are very important so we should take care of them. SBC Week 3: Activity 2: Because of What We All Have Done - It's a very nice poem. It doesn't rhyme, so I guess it's a free-verse poem. It shows how much we should really care about the environment. I like the rest of her posts though but these are the ones I really like the most. Thank You! |
