TimeLine - An Application We Use in Our School Blog Post Cedit: Mai Thao Image Credit: http://is5.mzstatic.com RWT Timeline is one of the many applications we use in our school. We can order events from history, sequence a scientific investigation, sequence events from a story, use it for biography writing, or planning frame for writing We can organize a timeline by time of day, date, or event, and the tool allows us to create a label with short or long descriptive text. It is very easy to use this app. Once downloaded, open it up, create a user name and name the timeline. A new point on the line can then be added by tapping the line itself. You can add a label and some simple detail as well as an image. You can also make the entries to sit above or below the timeline. Entries can be deleted easily or edited to add more information. When finished the timeline can be saved to Photos, and the project can be saved to return to it later. If you want to create a timeline, use RWT Timeline. It is available as a web app, as an Android app., and as an iPad app. Here are some links to download/use the app:

Organizing Parties Blog Post Credit: Alicia Image Credit: openclipart Alicia's post, Organizing a Party, really interests me even though I've never really liked to host nor have hosted a party before. The gift game is very interesting and seems fun. It would also be nice, that a host would give guests some presents, as a thank you for coming. It also seems exciting if nobody knows what they're getting. I don't really understand "Would You Rather" but "Time's Up" sounds fun. I agree with the decorations. Party looks lovely, lively and has a cheerful atmosphere.
The "Selfie Corner" is really cool. Aside from taking pictures, we can also have some fun with the mustaches, bows, fancy glasses and hats in my opinion. The additional wigs and/or masks look really fun. I agree with the food, something refreshing and delicious would be amazing. Fruit Brochettes sound delicious. I haven't tasted one yet (I think I saw one before in a photo). Mini Pizzas would be delicious. I agree that you can make the mini pizzas in different variety according to people's taste. It sounds creative. But how do you make one? My ideal party would be a party where it's fun but not too wild at the same time (or else someone might destroy something). There would be fun games. I might try to play the games Alicia recommended like the Gift Game and Time's Up. There would be refreshing foods like the Fruit Brochettes and something delicious like Mini Pizzas. I can't really answer the second question because my family has not experienced playing some games or attending some parties. Even if there were (which I'm not really sure) I would still forget 😅. But there are lots of foods. The games in parties are only for special occasions or younger children's parties. I think one of the most important part for a party is the food. For me food is what I like the most in parties. I like eating (very very much). Games I think would be the second. The decorations would be the third. I don't really care that much with the decor. Thank you for listening. If you want to visit Alicia's post: Click Here☺️ Drawing and Anime Blog Post Credit: Agathe Drawing of a cyclops like Eyeball that I made in MS Paint. I will be talking about Agathe's post, Drawing and Anime, and answering her questions.
I like Agathe's post about drawing different drawing styles. She is very good at shading. I don't really know how to shade. I don't actually know who SirCutieYuki is. But I looked her up. I think she looks nice. Hisoka is the third person I like in Hunter x Hunter. My first favorite is Bisky and second is Killua. Eyeball, the cyclops (one-eyed alien) interests me, so I made another person like Eyeball. Agathe's last drawing is cute. It is my favorite out of the rest. First, my most favorite anime is Danganronpa but it is very violent. It is about a killing game at school and the students are manipulated to kill each other. The students have special talents. The protagonist will try to escape and try not to kill nor die. My favorite character is Celestia, the ultimate gambler, and Junko, the ultimate despair. My favorite one is Danganronpa 3 Despair Arc. This season is different from the original Danganronpa. Some characters are different but everyone in the class still have talents. I recommend that you watch it if you can handle blood and gore. My second favorite anime is D-Gray Man. It is an action and comedy anime. The protagonist is an exorcist who defeats akumas and there is also the 14th Noah, Nea, inside him. A Noah is an akuma-like human who can summon akumas and kill humans. There are 14 Noahs. Noahs despise exorcists. My favorite character is Road Kamelot. I recommend watching it if you're interested. I would be happy if you would draw someone from these animes that I recommended. How Schooling Has Changed Over the Last 40 Years Image Credit: openclipart During my parents's school days, there were no gadgets and internet. For project work, they had to go to the libraries and use books, encyclopedias and dictionaries and finish their project research there. The teachers were also strict on homework. They would punish students who didn’t finish their homework. Now, we have gadgets and internet to do research for our homework in minutes, but still, some of us can’t finish our homework.
My parents' teachers were very strict, they used to hit the students with anything they were holding if the students were distracted or noisy while the teacher was talking. They would make students sit in the air tip toed if they did not finish their homework, and they would do many other punishments to students if they made a mistake. Now, most of the teachers aren’t really that strict, they try their best to be kind and have motherly love for students. During recess, my parents would play on playgrounds and they would feel very hot and sweaty just like us but there were no air conditioners in their school. Now, most of the schools have air conditioners. They had prayers in the beginning and end of class every day, while nobody does that anymore now. They were put into groups and they would clean the room if it was their day to clean the room. Most of the schools now have cleaners to clean the whole school. There are many other things also, that have changed over time like better buildings, better furniture, and better sports facilities. Our generation is so lucky to have plenty of resources to help us in our studies but unfortunately most of us don’t even feel grateful that we have these things. All we want to do is stay at home and play with our iPad or iPhone. I guess all of us should be grateful to be born in this generation. What do you think? Please let me know about your opinion in the comment section below. Games I Play at SchoolBulong Pari Bulong Pari game diagram Made by me in MS Paint Bulong Pari is a traditional Filipino game which means whisper to the priest. There should be two teams with a leader on each team. The teams are Team A and Team B. The team leaders should be away from the teams. One person from Team A will have to be the priest (Pari) and he/she will stand five meters away from both teams (it doesn't have to be exact five meters). The leader from Team B will whisper to the priest a name of a player from Team B. Then, the priest calls out "Lapit!" ("Approach") to summon one player from Team B. Team B will decide who should go. The leader will not say who the person he mentioned to the priest, but he/she might give a clue to his Team. If it happens to be the same person mentioned by the Team B leader, the priest will say "Bang!" or else he/she will become a prisoner. The priest has 3 seconds to say "Bang!" after the person approaches. They can distract the priest. If not, then the priest will say that it is the wrong person and then, a member from Team B will have to become the priest and then play the game again. If a team has very less players or no players at all the team loses. The goal is to keep the priest from saying bang and make him a prisoner. Pusa at Aso Puso at Aso is also another traditional Filipino game. In this game, you need to draw a circle in the center (or a square), which is the home of the "Aso"("dog"). The home has to be big. There should be some sticks, slippers or other objects that you can easily carry inside the circle which are called the "bones". There should be two teams, Team A and Team B. One player from a team is chosen to be the aso (dog) and another player from the other team is chosen to be the puso (cat). The aso has to protect the bones from the cat by tagging the cat before it reaches to the "bones". The cat has to take the "bones" away/out from the circle. The dog can not take the bones back if they are out of the circle but he can take them if the bones are in the circle or on the line. The dog has to stay inside the circle. The teammates can help their team member who is playing. The puso team can help the puso by distracting the aso. The aso team can help the aso by saying where the cat would be or to stay focused on the cat. If the cat is able to catch the bones the cat's team wins. If the cat was caught by the dog, the cat's team loses. After everyone has played, the teams can swap. I hope you like the games I play at school. You can play them as well if you're interested.
My Ideal School Map of my Ideal School Made by me in MS Paint My ideal school is a school which has a fun learning environment. It is a primary school located in a suburb area. The students have to either walk or ride their bikes to and from school. It is a place where students are taught to be responsible in maintaining the school clean and green. Students are trained to clean their classrooms and surroundings and teachers have motherly love for their students.
I made my ideal school like most primary schools. It has grade 1 to 6 classes, an art room, a music room, a computer lab, a library, a cafeteria, a gym, an auditorium, a playground, a few bike parking lots, some toilets, an administration office, and a kindergarten Section. I arranged the classes A and B close to each other so that the former classmates can still see each other and be friends. I set-up the library in which it should be far away as possible from the gym because the gym can be sometimes very noisy and the people who are reading there would not be disturbed. I called the open field a playground, where the students and teachers host some events and play sports like soccer or baseball and also play some other games. I made an auditorium for the school so that the clubs can perform there and also because my school doesn’t have one. The library is open after school, during lunch, and recess time. So this is my ideal school. Hope you will like it. ‘Sold’ by Patricia McCormic Image Credit: Wikipedia I recently read this book titled ‘Sold’ by Patricia McCormick and I loved it.
The story is about life in a village in Central Nepal in the teeming brothels of Calcutta, India, where a girl, Lakshmi, gets sold to a sex trade. Lakshmi lived in Calcutta’s red-light district. She lived with her mum Ama, her little brother, and her stepfather. She had a friend, Gita, who went to the city to work as a maid. In the red-light district festival Lakshmi met a city woman named Bimla who told Lakshmi she wanted her as a maid. Bimla sold Lakshmi to a turnip-nose man. The man sold her to a fat woman named Mumtaz where Lakshmi was forced to work in a sex trade place with other girls. One day, an American came and told Lakshmi he will get her out. He brought the police and set the girls free from the sex trade in India. The girls and Lakshmi were free. My Painting in MS Paint I made this painting of a young girl, Lala, in MS Paint. I called it Lala because that was the word I was thinking after I drew her. I only paint in MS Paint because it's fun especially when I have nothing else to do. I like painting in MS Paint because I like to create my own art and I have made some paintings already (like CJ from the jigsaw puzzle). I hope you played the jigsaw puzzle already. I also hope you like my artwork.
You might be wondering how I made it. So, here are the steps: I made a circle for the head. Then, I drew a few curvy lines for the neck, chest, and legs. The arms and hands were very difficult to draw because I'm not really good at drawing hands but I succeeded. I thought that maybe I drew the legs a bit too small or the arms a bit too long when I was already coloring it. After that, I drew the hair and the ear which was not really that hard. I only draw one ear because even if I draw another ear it will be blocked by the hair. Next, I drew the eyes, mouth, and nose. I tried to make the eyes better but it got worst, so, I just went with the one I already made. I made one and the only eye winking because you can't really see the other eye and it would look very weird. The nose I had to erase later because it didn't really turn out that great after coloring it. Then, I drew the clothes and accessories (which is the bracelet on her wrist). The clothes were very easy to draw. I decided to draw a women's off-the-shoulder tops for Lala because I saw my mom wearing one and she looked very beautiful (in my opinion) and I thought that it would look very good at Lala. I drew the shoes just like the original cute and simple Lala I made before. I drew a bracelet for Lala because I thought that maybe she would look more cute with it. After drawing the body parts and clothing, I erased the parts I didn't need, and then colored the rest. I colored the off-shoulder top, red because it was the main dress color of the original Lala. I colored the skirt purple because I think that red and purple really match. I colored the sleeve-less inside her off-shoulder top, orange because I think orange and purple match. I colored the shoes and socks just like the original. I colored the bracelet lime because it looks really cool. I colored the two holes beside the middle with a darker shade and the one in the middle with a lighter shade (the bracelet). I colored the hair blond just like the original. Did you notice that just like the original, there is a brighter/lighter shade and a darker shade of blond in a pattern? I drew the parts of the body first with different colors so that I could see my mistakes, and later started coloring. It was also easy to start it this way because I could easily bring lines back and front by copy pasting. If you're wondering what pose it is I don't really know myself. I just made it up. I worked on this drawing for about two hours. Tell me what you think about it in the comment section below. Image Credit: morguefile A Poem by me for your Loved One
Your eyes are beautiful, like a shining star. Your face is pretty, even from afar. Your heart is pure, and kind to all, Your smile is contagious, that makes others fall. You're nice and charming, I admire you. I wish I could be your reflection, Cause I love you.
