Limited Work Choices for Women

It is very unfair that men get their desired education and are allowed to get into professions they want, while most of the women are not allowed to choose to get education in their field of interest. Instead, they end up getting married after their primary or maximum high school education where they serve as housewives who do all the household chores such as cooking, washing dishes, doing the laundry, folding the bed sheets, cleaning the house, and taking care of the children and their husbands.  Sometimes the female children help their mothers do the chores.
 
What do you think, why it is like that? Is it that we have this cultural belief that women are less capable than men, therefore, they should be restricted to do certain jobs only. They should also not be exposed to outer world too much as they might turn into rebels. Some people even bring in girls’ safety and security concerns as they don’t have trust in society.
 
In my opinion, girls are also human beings. They should have an equal right to choose where and how they want to work. Girls are also equally skilled and they can prove to be even better than men. Don’t you think, they can be like the world’s most famous living political activist, Aung San Suu Kyi, or Malala,a  young woman who survived an attempt on her life and who is now an outspoken advocate of female rights and female education. There are of course many more examples like that.
